Team Impact
At Healthpeak, our people are at the heart of everything we do. From how we operate our business to how we engage with our communities and support our employees, we believe meaningful impact starts from within. Our commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion, belonging, and care is more than a set of programs—it’s embedded in the everyday experiences that shape our teams and how we show up for one another. Through intentional initiatives, cross-functional collaboration, and values-driven leadership, we continue to cultivate an environment where all employees feel empowered to thrive, grow, and make a difference.
Our People
Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accountability (“IDEA”) Council
Central to our team impact is the work of our IDEA Council—a cross-functional group of employees dedicated to advancing a culture of inclusion, equity, and belonging across Healthpeak. The Council is led by our Vice President – Senior Counsel and Vice President – Communications, Marketing, and Sustainability, who operate under the direction and full support of our leadership team with regular reporting to our President and CEO. Formed to help embed our WE CARE core values into our culture and decision-making, the Council plays a critical role in creating spaces where employees feel heard, valued, and connected.
The Council leads key programs that foster belonging and build bridges across teams, locations, and levels of experience. This includes our flagship WE CARE Mentorship Program, designed to create intentional development conversations and relationship-building opportunities between employees who may not otherwise cross paths. By pairing team members across departments and geographies, the program nurtures new perspectives, supports career growth, and strengthens our internal community.
In addition to mentorship, the IDEA Council champions well-being and mental health initiatives through a dedicated working group focused on mental health awareness and resources—reinforcing that employees can bring their full selves to work.
The Council also created Healthpeak’s first WE CARE Week of Service, a milestone volunteer event that brought employees together company-wide in healthcare-related community projects. Over five days, more than 250 employees participated in 27 team-selected projects, supported by 30 regional team captains. From supporting Ronald McDonald House and local food banks to partnering with health equity-focused nonprofits, the event sparked new connections and reinforced our commitment to service.

This was my favorite work experience I have ever had. Being part of a company that truly exhibits WE CARE and seeing everyone involved warms my soul. Please continue this experience for future years!
