Well here we are and it’s day four of the seven day juice fast/feast. I am feeling great! The light-headedness has gone and I have lots of energy. I slept nine hours last night. I guess I needed it! Typically after three days you do not feel hungry anymore. This is the time that a lot of people give up. Stick with it! After the third day it becomes much easier each day. I have very little hunger today and I have not focused very much on food. A little, but not too much. If people have been drinking coffee on a daily basis or other caffeinated drinks, they will typically have a headache the first three days. After that the headache will most likely go away. It is best to eliminate caffeine before you get to the juice fast.
Often with a juice fast, your body will eliminate toxins. Signs of detoxification are headache, lethargy, nausea, skin rashes, nasal congestion, digestive distress, and foggy headedness, to name a few. It is very uncomfortable but realize that it is necessary in order for you to have a healthy body. You want the toxins coming out, but unfortunately they are uncomfortable as they exit the body. They are a lot more fun going in than going out 🙂 Be patient with the process and you will experience great results! It will be worth it! Toxic build up in the body can lead to diseases like cancer, and you don’t want that.

Digestive Distress – indigestion, gas, bloating & heartburn:
- 3 ounces of carrot juice, 3 ounces of cabbage juice, 2 ounces of beetroot juice, 4 ounces of papaya juice, 3 ounces of pineapple juice, and 1 ounce of lemon or lime juice
- One fourth head of cabbage and two tomatoes
- Handful of spinach and 4-5 carrots
- Handful of parsley, 4 carrots, one garlic clove and two stalks of celery
